About Men's
Sheds.
We are a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to strengthening men's health and well-being through social connection, meaningful activity and community involvement.

From coffee to community.
What began as an opportunity for men to gather for coffee and conversation has grown into a supportive local community centred around friendship, mentorship, hands-on projects and volunteer service.
Members come together in a relaxed environment where they can share experiences, exchange knowledge and work alongside one another. The organization supports Lethbridge, Coaldale and surrounding Southern Alberta communities.
To build and promote welcoming spaces where men can connect, create, socialize and contribute to their community in a positive and supportive environment.
A community where men of different backgrounds have opportunities to form friendships, find purpose, remain active and feel valued.
Six things we hold to.
Connection
Friendships built side by side, in the small moments.
Camaraderie
Looking out for each other — through every season.
Respect
Every person, every story, every skill is welcome here.
Purpose
Meaningful work, however large or small, restores dignity.
Inclusion
No background, age or skill level is a barrier.
Community
What we build, we build for our neighbours.
A practical way to reconnect.
Many men build their social connections around work, family responsibilities or organized activities. When those circumstances change, maintaining friendships and meeting new people can become difficult.
Men's Sheds provides a practical and approachable way to reconnect. Rather than requiring formal programs or structured conversations, friendships develop naturally while members work together, drink coffee, exchange stories and complete projects.
The Shed creates an environment where friendship and support can develop without pressure.

Built locally.
Led locally.
